GolfWolf is a useful software that was designed to be used by a range of golfers from the player who wants a record of previous rounds to golf competition administrators who need to produce results for hundreds of competitors.

Player handicaps are calculated using the CONGU Handicapping System. Although GolfWolf is not affiliated with CONGU in any way, this system can be used by anyone wishing to use GolfWolf software.

In GolfWolf a course is a record of the actual course location rather than the details of the various "cards" that can be played at that course.

In GolfWolf two of the most common competitions types are Stroke Play and Stableford. In addition to these basic competition types GolfWolf also allows a League of these types to be set up.

What is a Match Play competition?
A Match Play competition starts with a draw to determine which players play against each other, due to the fact the field is halved after each round there must be a certain number of ties draw at the start, basically the number of ties can be 1,2,4,8,16,32,64 and so on. This usually means that some competitors get a "Bye" through the first round.
