The medical field is one of the most important areas of human activity and in recent times the boom in related programs has helped save many lives. Two things should be noted before one can start recording data: the application has to be run with administrator privileges, as otherwise a 'missing file' error will be displayed. The second important information is that, when running it for the first time, users must enter “Admin” in both the username and password fields. This can then be adjusted in the “Add or Remove Users” window.

Also, concerning the installation, it should be noted that the application comes in two versions: one for doctors and one for nurses. If medical nurses are allowed to make consultations, one should choose the latter installation version.

These things being said, the tool is a very comprehensive consultation registry. It keeps track of multiple patients, with each one's information kept in a separate tab. From symptoms to past illnesses and treatments (if applicable), the utility records all the essential information. One notable feature is the predefined symptoms, illnesses or investigations, which allows users to select an item from a drop-down list, rather than manually inserting the text string.
