Musition is an intuitive and user-friendly learning tool, that enables you to practice, test and improve your knowledge of musical theory. The software consists of numerous theory lessons, tests and drills that enable you to consolidate and improve your musical education.

The software features an elegant looking interface that ensures a friendly learning environment for yourself or your students. You can easily access the lessons and choose the difficulty level that best suits you. Thus, you may choose music, band or jazz theory, all designed to offer you a comprehensive learning experience.

The studying tool also includes tests and drills that enable you to check your knowledge, when it comes to recognizing notes, tunes, instruments or tempos. Pitch, Rhythm, Terms&Symbols, Harmony, Instruments are the test categories and include several types of questions and drills.

Before starting a test, the software prompts you to choose an entry level of difficulty. You may choose beginner, medium or advanced, then easily switch between them during the test. You have two tries at the correct answer, for each question.

The software offers several answering modes, such as multiple choice, open answer or place the correct note on the stave. You can easily skip a question you can’t answer by viewing the correct response, then move to a different difficulty or practice with more questions.

Musition enables you to test your knowledge of music theory, but also practice sound recognition, by listening to notes or instruments playing. You can practice with strings, percussion, drums or jazz instruments, as well as tempo and rhythm recognition.

You can learn rhythmic note subdivisions, meter recognition, beaming or rhythm tapping. Moreover, you may practice with modulations, scales, intervals or cadences.
