Rubik's Cube 3.2
A simple and entertaining application designed to function as a Rubik's cube simulator, allowing you to solve various combinations of squares
You can use this small utility to challenge your skills while trying to solve the classic cube, with nine squares on each face or even try out the impossible and solve a cube with a dimension of up to 50x50x50.
The main window of the application is completely resizeable, which comes in handy if you decide to play with a bigger cube. You have multiple options at your disposal to change the size of the cube and the face colors. To make the game more interactive, you can place pictures instead of colors on the cube's faces.
Changing the render quality, the layer rotation speed, the cube face shape as well as the zoom level, are other options that you can use to customize the program.
When the cube is scrambled for the first time, the timer starts and the move counter is active. All the cube moves are done easily with the help of the mouse.
However, only three of the six cube faces are displayed, which makes the solving process a bit more difficult. On the other hand, you can capture images of the cube and save your progress to a file on your system, which you can load later.
We all tried to solve the Rubik's Cube at least once and this application brings a challenging puzzle to your PC. All in all, Rubik's Cube is a good virtual reproduction of the famous cube game, so if you are looking for a fun way to relax in your work break, this may be a viable solution.
