RouteBuddy is a user-friendly map application that allows you to view multiple locations and takes advantage of the latest GeoLocation technology.
As multi-purpose GPS-enabled software RouteBuddy will help you plan your trips, and analyse your recorded GPS data, you can also easily connect your USB Garmin, USGlobalSat or NMEA device to your PC and RouteBuddy will synchronize Waypoints, Routes and Tracks with ease and at speed.
Chosen by Microsoft's BizSpark community RouteBuddy was developed in close partnership with them and is now the only map application that makes use of the latest features that Windows 7 offers.
By also combining forces with Microsoft's Bing Map community RouteBuddy can, uniquely, deliver Satellite Map Imagery in-app, which can be layered over offline digital Topo and Road Maps. Switching between Topo map and Satellite images has never been easier, or more accurate, for the best way to plan any trip in the outdoors.
RouteBuddy Map Products:
Maps available are Topo Maps from the USAs "USGS 24K" maps and the UKs "Ordnance Survey" maps. Additionally RouteBuddy also offer the richest, and highest quality, rendering of road maps from market leaders TomTom.
All Topo maps purchased for use in RouteBuddy on Windows can also be used in their mobile software on iOS: "RouteBuddy Atlas" for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.
RouteBuddy can load mixed vector and raster maps from a growing range around the world it is sold as an application with sample maps.
