A command-line program that helps you find the area of a circle and triangle, and apply the Pythagorean theorem quickly and minimum effort

editor's review

SAMP is a lightweight command-line application whose purpose is to help you perform various math calculations for finding the area of a circle and triangle, and apply the Pythagorean theorem in order to determine a side of a triangle.

It can be used for educational purposes, as it gives you a hand when it comes to verifying your homework.

Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.

You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to make math calculations on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps.

SAMP gives you the possibility to specify the radius of a circle in order to determine the circle area, and enter the length of the base and height of the triangle to calculate the area of a triangle.

What’s more, you can apply the Pythagorean theorem by providing details about the length of A and B sides for finding the length of the hypotenuse.

Although command-line operations may prove to be quite difficult to understand for some users, this tool offers a straightforward approach which is suitable even for less experienced users.

During our testing we have noticed that SAMP carries out a task quickly and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so it doesn’t hamper the overall performance of the computer.

All in all, SAMP seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for an easy-to-use software application. It cannot compete with other powerful tools on the market, as it needs support for a wide range of math calculations.
