Stamp Mate

Stamp Mate is a user-friendly software solution developed specifically for stamp collectors, to provides them with the proper means of managing their catalogs with less effort.

The program is quite simple to work with, requiring that users create a database where they can store all the information. The application offers several sample entries in order to get them started and help them understand how to organize their stamps.

Stamp Mate offers two distinct methods of adding records: manually and automatically. Using the manual method, users can enter all the required data, such as country, year of issue, condition, color, emission, format, denomination, postmark, size and many more, in the assigned fields, along with a picture of the item.

With the automatic import function, users simply need to enter the search parameters, namely the country, keyword and year of issue. The relevant records are located and downloaded to their computer, allowing them to choose which stamp they targeted, then press the 'Save and Close' button and instantly add the information to the database.

Moreover, Stamp Mate lets users add 'Personal' information for each record, for instance the album that it can be found in or the page, the quantity or the purchase price. The 'Status' feature enables users to classify them as 'Have', for the items they own, 'Wish', for the objects they would like to acquire or 'Trade'. Similarly, users can add one or more pictures for each stamp, either from a file or from a capture device.

The 'Statistics' section of Stamp Mate allows users to view the number of records from a certain country in a 'Graph' or 'Table' view, but the sorting criteria can be adjusted to suit their requirements, so only specific items are displayed.
