WASP -Water And Steam Properties 2.0.36
WASP -Water And Steam Properties is an example of a rather miscellaneous tool that has a focused group of users as its purpose is to calculate physical properties for ice, water and steam.
As far as scientific software goes, WASP -Water And Steam Properties displays a more than comprehensive interface which makes it accessible to anyone. It comes with a tabbed window from where you can enter temperature and pressure values and quickly navigate to the results you need as calculations are performed instantly.
Data is updated whenever you make modification to the input values and is separated into ‘Variable Results’, ‘Fixes Properties’, ‘Steam Search’ and ‘Wet Steam’ section. The application offers 15 fixed and 17 variable properties that are applicable in temperatures that range from -100 to 800 degrees Celsius and go up to 1000 bar.
The application doesn't allow you to override default coefficients that are used to obtain the results but it does enable you to change the measuring units for each property.
Easily export results
A really nice feature that WASP -Water And Steam Properties offers is the fact that you are able to copy results from the application to Clipboard and then to wherever they are required.
You can do this in two ways, with tabs, which maintains formatting for spreadsheets, or with spaces which looks great when placed inside text documents.
A great tool to help you calculate physical properties for water and steam
With the above to consider and a few more things to discover, it’s well earned to say that WASP -Water And Steam Properties is a practical tool for students and engineers who need to obtain values for enthalpy, entropy, internal energy, density (specific volume), enthalpy of vaporization, viscosity, heat capacity and more.
