It's a game, it's a file explorer, it's a calculator, oh wait, it's Biswarup Universe. Although it might sound pretty weird, Biswarup Universe is an application that comes with all these tools and many more, all grouped under the same interface.

The sole purpose of the application is to offer you the utilities you need the most, such as the aforementioned ones plus an image viewer, a quiz, an universal media player, a BMI calculator and a few converters.

Pre-testing mea culpa: we must admit that after we first opened the application, we laughed. The interface is so childish that it's almost impossible not to laugh after testing so many great looking software solutions.

And the weird thing is that we have really spent a lot of time testing the app, not because it works quite slow, but because it really got us. It was fun at the beginning, but it became interesting afterwards when we actually discovered what it's up to.

Leaving aside the fact that you're not able to move the window on the screen, but just to resize it, Biswarup Universe has some interesting tools hidden under that puerile hood.

For example, we've spent a few minutes trying the BMI Calculator, only to find that we're healthy, but after that we've moved to the “Quiz”. The same childish atmosphere here too, but at least you can play some sort of “Who wants to be a millionaire” with no video cameras aimed at you...

All in all, don't expect Biswarup Universe to become a must have, but if you have enough spare time, it is definitely worth a chance.
