If you used to play various Game Boy Advanced games in your childhood and still want to try them out from time to time on your computer, then you will be happy to learn that you can do so with an emulator tool.

VisualBoyAdvance-M is an application (GBA Emulator) designed to help you with play your favorite games from the 1990s even when without a dedicated GameBoy console.

After a quick and straightforward setup, you can immediately open the game of your choice. It is worth mentioning that the app works with a variety of files, so if you have some archived ROMs, you do not even have to decompress them. Moreover, you can connect external drives, as the app comes with an e-reader and hence, it is able to recognize them.

As far as the functionality is concerned, you can play using the settings from previous sessions or states. During the actual playing mode, you can save a current state so that you can use it with another occasion. Depending on the resources, you can also enable the Turbo mode, skip frames and BIOS or consider playing with VSync.

Similarly to creating and saving states, the program enables you to tweak the video, audio, inputs, directories or shortcuts by accessing the Options menu. You can enjoy your games in OpenGL, have speed indicators on the display, increase the audio sample rate or enjoy the catchy in-game music in XAudio2, OpenAL or Direct Sound, just to name a few things.
