Following the brief installation process, with no noteworthy events, you can launch the program and begin using it immediately, as its straight-forward interface makes it quite handy for individuals of all levels of experience.
You should keep in mind that in order to retrieve valid results, you need to have an internet connection, since the application grabs its information from the Google Finance Services.
Enter your value, choose the currencies and convert them in a click
The main window allows you to input the amount of money that you wish to convert (supporting up to four decimals), while the two menus let you opt for the source and target currency. However, you can only convert between two elements, and not more.
Google Currency Converter supports one hundred and sixty seven different currencies, with endless combinations. You can work with the US or Canadian Dollar, Euro, Peso, Franc, Pound, Dinars, Krone, Yen, Dinar, Shilling, Rupee, Ruble, and countless other country-specific money.
After entering the source and target currencies, you can click on the ‘Convert’ button and the utility will process your request almost automatically. It displays the result in the lower part of the screen, using real-time information to calculate the equivalence as accurately as possible, with four decimals of each result.
Handy tool for currency conversion operations
All things considered, Google Currency Converter proves to be quite helpful in determining the correct result when turning money from one currency to another, without having to access a web browser to get the job done.
