Portable FileASSASSIN is a freeware software solution designed to help you delete locked malware files on a system wherever you go.
Since it's portable, the package includes the necessary files to load the app straight from a removable drive, such as a USB flash drive or another type of external disk.
This particular versions has all the features of the full versions, so you get the same user friendly and easy to use interface that lends you a hand when trying to deal with malware.
With a minimum but straightforward look, the main window boasts all the features implemented into the app, which means there are no other menus or configuration screen.
To remove a locked file you can either use the built-in button to browse for it or simply drag it into the dedicated field in the main window.
There are multiple ways to delete a locked file, as it follows: you can use either FileASSASSIN's method of file processing, which can be either unlocking locked file handles, unloading modules, terminating the file's process or deleting the file, but also the delete feature on Windows reboot functions.
Last but not least, you can turn to the normal delete feature that's available in the operating system, but keep in mind that this one may fail because of the locked file.
Of course, you don't need a help manual to figure out how to use the app, so there's no such thing available. Portable FileASSASSIN remains light on computer resources and works smooth on all Windows versions.
That being said, Portable FileASSASSIN is quite a handy application, not only because it does such a great job for free, but also thanks to the fact that it's portable and can be used on the go.
