A fresh browsing experience based on Mozilla Firefox but with a distinctive enough taste to convince you it is neither it nor some melon liquor on the market. #Web Browser #Browser Extension #Website Explorer #Browser #Bookmark #Explorer
Midori Portable is a simple, blazing-fast, secure portable browser based on the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine, the same as you'd find in the Firefox browser. The app is quite efficient, and it does not lag behind in any of the operations and actions that the user might require.
In fact, it also seems to do all of these while not compromising security or any safety options on the way. I was surprised by how much this program managed to polish modern-day browser problems, although it does share its name with a common melon liquor.
Since this browser shares quite a lot with Mozilla Firefox browser, it is safe to say that performance can only be equal to or greater than. I found that the improvements, although present, did not really account for a lot. Yes, it is a slight improvement. I also liked the color pallet used and the way icons and functions were arranged.
One particular perk to take into consideration when dealing with this particular version is of course the portability factor. The application can be taken with you on a removable drive and includes all your settings, bookmarks, and other specific options to it.
Just like in the case of Firefox, you do get the ability to easily switch from one version of the app to another, meaning from your Windows platform device to a portable one such as Android or iOS. Although helpful, when dealing with the portable version, features like these seem far less effective. Browsing speeds are well above satisfactory levels. In my experience, I found the app to be slightly faster than its parent, but not by a lot.
Extension allows the app to improve its functionality and in terms of adaptability, this browser scores high, allowing users to adjust it as seen fit. There really aren't many things that make this browser not worth checking out, while when it comes to updates and improvements, the list is pretty convincing.
