Portable SMTP Tester
This is the portable edition of SMTP Tester - a tiny application whose sole purpose is to test your SMTP server, so that you can verify multiple possibilities of sending an email.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can just store SMTP Tester on a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, and run it on any computer. This way, you can keep the tool in your pocket whenever you're on the go.
Alternatively, you can just drop SMTP Tester on any location of the hard drive and directly run the executable file.
The most important aspect is that the Windows Registry section does not receive new entries, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after removing the program.
The interface of SMTP Tester is represented by a common window with an uncomplicated layout, where you can enter SMTP server details concerning the host address, port number, SSL mode, username and password.
Once you write the sender and receiver email addresses, together with the subject and content, you can test the SMTP server in question with the simple click of a button. These log details can be saved to a plain text document (TXT format) for further analysis. From this point on, you can clear all data to test another possibility of sending mail via SMTP.
The program is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and system memory, so it doesn't burden the computer's overall performance. It has a good response time, displays results rapidly and works fine, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, SMTP Tester can be handled by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience.
