Portable Vibe Streamer is a comprehensive application designed to help you stream and listen to music online using your IP address and port as a sharing server. Plus, you can manage users and specific people groups, as well as the users' permissions and server privacy settings.

Once the download is finished, you can take the app for a test directly, as it doesn't require a prior setup. Due to its portability, it can be dropped on a thumb drive and launched on any PC. The displayed panel is dedicated to the configuration process, which is divided into five distinct tabs: the status of the connection, members and groups, sharing, settings and security.

The first step you have to do before going online is to set the server properties such as the IP address, port, the maximum allowed sessions and session timeout. After that, new members can be entered by inputting a unique name and password, which can be generated by you or chosen by the user.

Plus, you have the option to sort the members in specific groups. For every individual, you can configure specific permissions, like allowing browsing access only or bypasssing server limits, enabling the share limit or setting the maximum number of sessions.

Adding a new folder to the list is done in a few simple steps. You just have to select what directories you want to share from the computer and give them a descriptive name. It's going to be queued for indexing. The waiting time might vary from a PC to another.

Once everything is settled, you have to enter the designated IP address and port number in your web browser's address bar, log in with your credentials and check your files to see if they can be played. The main app interface consists of a simple player at the top, with playback functions (e.g. volume, play, pause, shuffle), the directory and file lists, and the information about the currently played music.
