Creating music using a computer is not something new, but rather a powerful and a highly-accessible option. Needless to say there are countless specialized applications that stimulate creativity, with X-Mixxx being only one of them, and comes equipped with a visually appealing environment, real time playback, as well as various effects to apply.

Another advantage is that all changes are made in real time, with audio feedback changing as you edit or apply effects. You can also bring up four sampling decks in order to create and save loops to easily import later on. Amongst the implemented effects, you can adjust or completely cut off high, mid, low, gain, balance, tempo, delay, or depth.

All things considered, X-Mixxx is a powerful, real time music mixing application that is highly recommended for enthusiasts, both beginners and experienced. You can simply keep it on a removable storage device and use it on the go, with the possibility to record your sessions or mix with real time feedback in front of your friends or other crowds.
