Portable AutoScreenRecorder Pro

This is the portable version of AutoScreenRecorder, an application that allows you to easily record the activity of your monitor.

Since installation is not required, you can place Portable AutoScreenRecorder on a removable drive, plug into any computer and directly run its executable file.

What's more important is the fact that your Windows registry keys will remain intact.

The interface of AutoScreenRecorder is plain and simple to navigate through. You can get started by specifying what you want to record (e.g. rectangle area, object or window, active window, fixed area, full screen).

Moreover, you can include the mouse cursor, add sound and a watermark, as well as enable multiple monitors mode and set a timer.

But you can also configure recording options regarding the codec, quality and frame rate, create a SWF file and determine the output directory and temporary folder.

You can enable AutoScreenRecorder to hide the main menu on startup and to only show an icon the system tray, change the highlight color, use the location chosen in the file saving dialog as default, and others.

The application runs on a low amount of system resources, includes a step-by-step guide with snapshots for beginners and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality in the output videos. No errors have occurred during our tests and Movie Maker did not freeze or crash.

Unfortunately, the unregistered version is pretty limited. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Movie Maker to all users, regardless of their experience level.
