Portable AllNotes is a software tool that provides users with a simple means of managing notes and protect them from prying eyes by simply inputting individual passwords.

Since this is the portable edition of Allnotes, you are not required to go through an installation process. In addition to that, unlike installers, it is not going to update the Windows registry and hard drive with new entries without your approval, and no traces are going to be left behind after you discard it.

Most importantly, you can copy the program files to an external data device and thus, take Portable AllNotes anywhere with you and run it on any PC, with a minimal amount of effort.

Packed with a multi-tab environment, this application enables you to create several databases, using an ANT file extension. In these you can easily add multiple notes pertaining to anything, from simple ideas to login credentials, passkeys and PINs. It is possible to easily input passwords for each and every one of these items, as well as organize them using categories, so as to find them easier.

In addition to that, you can easily change the font type, style, size and color, use a find and replace function to correct some of your mistakes and a simple search one to look for a particular item faster. Last but not least, you can force the frame to always stay on top of all other opened windows, as well as edit and delete categories and notes with just a click of the button.

To wrap it up, Portable AllNotes proves to be a pretty efficient piece of software when it comes to managing notes and protecting them. The interface is quite intuitive, yet not very appealing, while the response time is good. The computer’s performance is not at all affected and our tests did not reveal any issues such as hangs, errors or bugs.
