A great freeware to split & merge PDF-Files

7-PDF Split & Merge Portable is a software with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to cut and join PDF documents.
Since the program does not require installation, you can simply place 7-PDF Split & Merge Portable on an external device (like a USB flash drive) and directly run its executable file on any computer. Also, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. You can import PDFs for splitting and merging via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
When it comes to PDF splitting, you can enable the tool to split even or odd pages, or into single ones (i.e. burst), by page range, and so on.
But you can also set 7-PDF Split & Merge Portable to ask you which output folder should be used, to overwrite the output if the file already exists, and more. The merging process is similar. Settings can be restored to their default values.
7-PDF Split & Merge Portable uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, supports two languages for the interface and quickly finishes a splitting or merging task without popping up any errors. Too bad the demo version has some severe limitations. Otherwise, we strongly recommend 7-PDF Split & Merge Portable to all users, regardless of their experience level.
