It features support for JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP and GIF formats, along with standard options that can be easily defined by less experienced users.
Fast installation and simple GUI
The setup operation does not take a long time to finish, nor require special attention. As far as the interface goes, PDF to Image Convertor opts for a small, standard window with a plain look, where you can use the file browser to locate a PDF doc for conversion.
Seamlessly convert PDFs to a preferred image format
Unfortunately, batch processing is not supported, meaning that you are restricted to working with only one file at a time. All you have to do is point out the output destination and format, and click a button to start conversion; each PDF page is delivered to a separate image file. On task completion, PDF to Image Convertor pops up a message, indicating the success or failure of the job. There are no other noteworthy features provided by this piece of software.
Evaluation and conclusion
PDF to Image Convertor carried out conversion tasks in decent time during our evaluation, while remaining light on the system resources. We have not come across any issues, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. However, the app comes bundled with a very basic set of features, considering its hefty price tag.
Its biggest disadvantage is that it does not implement support for batch conversions (e.g. entire directories with PDFs). Users may resort to other apps for creating images from PDF docs in batch mode, and many of them are free.
