Dekart Private Disk Light creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk. Encryption is extremely fast, automatic, on-the-fly and with no performance loss.
Private Disk Light uses NIST certified AES 128-bit encryption to protect confidential information.
Once a user creates a virtual encrypted disk, that disk is assigned a new drive letter and appears to the user like any other system drive (like the A: or C: drive). When the encrypted disk is mounted, the data is automatically encrypted and decrypted when the user writes or reads this data respectively.
Private Disk Light is very easy to use and takes only a few minutes to install. Data encryption is an effortless process, requiring only the copying of files into the designated secure drive.
Here are some key features of "Portable Private Disk Light":
· Create encrypted disks
· Mount and unmount encrypted disks
· Support of most commands from the command line
