Red Button Portable

Red Button Portable is a software application whose purpose is to help you delete unnecessary data from your computer using a rich-featured pack of configuration settings.

Since this is the portable version of the program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. Note that in order to access the portable version, you have to deploy the installer version on your PC, open the "Options" window, navigate to the "Portable Version" tab, configure the parameters as you want and hit the "Install" button.

What’s more, you can remove errors related to ActiveX, utilities, help files, missing shared DLLs, file associations, installers, as well as history information (e.g. DirectX, Paint, Remote Desktop Connection). When it comes to deleting the OS components, you may erase the Calculator, Disk Cleanup, Default Music, Pictures, and Videos, Help, MS-DOS, and others.

The tool also comprises several tweaking parameters for helping you improve your system performance. You can automatically close hung services and programs, and unloaded DLLs from memory, as well as disable visual effects, thumbnail catching mode, search indexer, and user account control.
