This is the portable version of Undelete 360 - a tool which allows you to recover files which have been lost or deleted from your computer.

Since installation is not necessary, you can place Portable Undelete 360 on a removable drive and directly run its executable file on any computer. But the most important part is that your Windows registry keys will remain intact.

The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. You can initiate a scan job by selecting a volume to look into.

Once results are displayed, you can check out the name, path, status and size, as well as date of creation and modification of each file.

All you have to do is select the files that you want to retrieve, specify the output location and optionally enable Portable Undelete 360 to keep the folder structure, user smart recovery, retain original file dates and times, and to recover alternate data streams.

In addition, you can filter results by specifying all or part of a file name, set the date range and file size, as well as enable the program to hide the temporary or overwritten files.

On top of that, you can wipe the files and folders of your computer after selecting the wiping method (e.g. one pass random), change the interface language, and more.

The simple-to-use software runs on a moderate amount of system resources and can guide you to a comprehensive help file with video tutorials. According to the size of the partition, it can take a while to complete a scan job but Portable Undelete 360 is very thorough.

We haven't come across any issues. Unfortunately, you do not have the option of refining searches before initiating the scanning process, in order to speed it up. Other than that, we strongly recommend Portable Undelete 360 to all users.
