A utility that helps you calculate hashes for files and compare documents to see if they are identical, using a wide range of algorithms
Portable Hasher is an easy-to-use utility that helps you check a file's integrity or identity and it is designed to run from a portable device, such as an USB flash drive.

The application supports several calculating algorithms in order to generate has for files, including CRC32, MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, RipeMD128, RipeMD160, ED2K. The program generates all the hash types simultaneously.

You can compare the checksums of two or three files. The application will determine how many of the hashes match and see if the files are identical or not.

You can just hold down the Shift key to compare a file to the next one or Ctrl key to compare it to the next two.

Log Viewer window shows you a history of the processed files. They are ready for export to a number of different verification file formats: SFV, MD5SUM, SHA1SUM.

You can also rely on this application to calculate the hash for a user-defined string.

NOTE:  Portable Hasher Lite can be used and distributed only for non-commercial purposes and with appropriate attributions.
