Portable HotKeyz

This is the portable version of HotKeyz, a program which enables you to configure keyboard shortcuts, so you can work faster on your computer.

Since installation is not necessary, you can place Portable HotKeyz on an external drive and directly run its executable file on any computer.

What's more important is the fact that your Windows registry items will not be changed.

The interface of the software is very plain and simple to navigate through. In the list you can check out the description, command, parameter, hotkey, used date and time for each program.

You can add a new entry by specifying its description, category, keyboard shortcut and command (e.g. select a program, document or file).

You can make the respective hotkey work with all desktop windows or if the window title includes or excludes a particular text.

You can view a confirmation dialog when this hotkey is executed, set Portable HotKeyz to execute it when the program starts, as well as specify a delay time and make "ok" the default button. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

Moreover, you can edit, delete and duplicate an entry, reset the "Last Used" and "Times Used" counters, save window positions and column widths, disable Windows hotkeys, configure volume display settings (e.g. startup volume, transparency), and more.

The software requires a very low amount of system resources, can guide you to a comprehensive help file online and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Putting aside the outdated interface, we strongly recommend Portable HotKeyz to all user levels.
