GoldenSharp is a lightweight C# IDE+ compiler designed specifically for helping you carry out fast implementations of small console applications.

You are welcomed by an intuitive layout that bundles only a few configuration settings that you can play with. Thanks to its multi-tabbed layout, you can easily switch between the Code source panel, where the editing process takes place, and Properties window where you can define your program.

The utility keeps a log which records information about errors, more precisely error number, issue, line and column.

GoldenSharp gives you the possibility to import/export project data from/to GSP file format, print the information, undo your actions, as well as perform basic clipboard tasks (cut, copy, paste, delete). You may run or decompile the project and enable the automatic compilation mode.

The tool provides support for smart syntax highlighting and basic auto-complete mode for types and static classes. The auto-complete suggestions are shown while you type and you may easily pick the desired one from a drop-down list.

The application helps you set up several parameters related to filename, output path, target framework (ISO-1, ISO-2 or C# 3.0), type (Console, Library, WinForms), and user-defined compiler options (you need to separate the arguments with a space).

You can provide information about the assembly, such as company, configuration, copyright, file version, product, title, trademark and version, as well as keep track of your references.
