Magic C++ is a fully integrated development environment(IDE) designed to meet the requirements of programmers developing on remote Linux/Unix servers using Windows client.

Magic C++ Enterprise Edition was developed to support editing, compiling and debugging.

· Application wizard
· Application wizard helps you quickly accomplish common tasks, such as creating standard executable, static library, and dynamic library. The wizard will prompt you for answers when needed and guide you through a project or a task step by step.
· Advanced code editor
· Advanced code editor provides color syntax highlighting, auto-text, virtually unlimited undo and redo, changed line markers, split-windows, bookmarks, block text select and bracket matching.
· Highlighted errors
· With compiler output redirected to the Magic C++ IDE, you can compile and highlight errors with a double-click.
· Integrated debugging
· Seamlessly integrates with your existing compilers and debuggers.Interactively controls remote debuggers to quickly insert breakpoints and step through code.
· Variable value manipulation/monitoring in debugging
· Inspecting a selected variable's value in the Locals pane can be very helpful in debugging, as can changing a variable's value in the Locals pane Value column to observe what effect it has on other parts of your program.
· Multiple processes applications support
· Support for attaching to an exsiting process and debugging it. You can startup multiple instances of Magic C++ IDE to debug multiple processes applications cooperatively.

· CVS( Concurrent Versions System ) is a version control system that records the history of source files throughout development. Using CVS, you can easily retrieve old versions of source files to find bugs, retrieve deleted content, etc. Magic C++ provides facilities for integrating CVS into the development environment.
· Man help support
· Magic C++ realizes a simple HTTP server in the backstage though transferring the CGI script, and presents a help document of HTTP form for users.
· Call stack support
· During a debug session, the Call Stack window displays the stack of function calls that are currently active. When a function is called, it is pushed onto the stack. When the function returns, it is popped off the stack.
· Memory window support
· You can use the Memory window to view large buffers, strings, and other data that do not display well in the Watch or Variables window. .
· Variable value radix convertion support
· You can change the display radix format of variables in the QuickWatch dialog box or in the Watch window using OCTAL, DECIMAL or HEXADECIMAL etc.
· FORTRAN debugging support
· You can also debug applications which programmed by FORTRAN language or FORTRAN/C/C++ mixed language.
