Whenever you need to display data that is hierarchical, such as entries in an index or the files and directory on a hard drive, for instance, the best approach would be to employ tree views. With a tree view, users can view and interact with a hierarchically arranged collection of objects, using either single selection or multiple selections.

If the application you are working on is designed to display a lot of data, then the tree view control enables you to keep the interface as clean as possible. In fact, you can have an unlimited number of levels to each node and configure the app to display alternative data for each of them if necessary.

TAdvExplorerTreeview is a component which allows users to developers to create applications with hierarchical tree views. It is worth mentioning that the library works with the folder selection or the folders that are hierarchically under the selected folder only and that are restricted.

It supports the direct replacement of Windows Vista folder selection replacement, but provides other styles as well, namely Office 2003 and 2007. It goes without saying that the library enables you to use fully custom tree data, any images you think are relevant, includes extensive lookup support as well as editable and read-only support.
