    JLayerME is a JAVA library that decodes MP3 files in real-time

    JLayerME is a freeware JAVA librarythat decodes MP3 files in real-time.

    JLayerME supports MPEG 1/2 Layer 3 audio format only. It is oriented for J2ME platforms.

    JLayerME project is now split in two branches. JLayerME-CDC for CDC compliant devices and JLayerME-CLDC for CLDC compliant devices (such as mobiles). JLayerME-CLDC includes a MIDlet MP3 player.
