StyleSkin description
StyleSkin - easily design your 2D or 3D graphics
StyleSkin is advanced graphics rendering application that enables you to easily create professional quality 3D skin graphics.
Skins, or interface graphics, are the images used to define the look of an application or webpage. Many applications are now implementing the ability to change the appearance of the software by using external images in the form of a skin.
Equally you can use StyleSkin to create amazing website graphics. All the images on these pages were created using StyleSkin! And of course there are many other uses for interface graphics, skins and the rendered images StyleSkin can produce!
With power and flexibility programmed in at every step, StyleSkin can cater for almost any skinning application.
You can quickly create and edit the skin using the native skin template editor, a wide range of built in textures, and saved skin effects settings.
Equally, you can import image-based templates, import your own textures (they do not even have to be greyscale), and create your own skin effects!
Here are some key features of "StyleSkin":
· You design your template first. StyleSkin's built in template editor does this quickly and easily, or you can use another program and import the template as a graphic. Either way creating the template is a simple job of drawing shapes which define the different areas of your skin.
· You then create a texture for your skin. You can choose from the extensive range of textures and endless variations StyleSkin has to offer, or you can import an image to use as your texture. With the built in textures StyleSkin can create a texture that is unique across your skin. This adds detail and interest to your skin, and avoids drab tiled patterns.
· Now you decide on your color and other skin properties. You can choose your colors, how rounded it appears etc. For this skin we chose to have green gel buttons on a grey background. We also chose to vary the color of the skin with the texture
· We can even save our skin settings, our texture and our template! Then, when we want another skin in that style we need only open up the files we want and we're off again.
