TRasMonitor description
Remote Access Service Monitor. Component for Borland/Inprise Delphi
TRasMonitor - whenever an internet connection is established through the RAS Dialup, usually the ISP assigns a temporary IP address to the calling PC. Using this unique IP address the PC can communicate with the outside world and can also be used to act as a Server by publishing this IP address to Clients.
TRasMonitor is a remote access service monitor that notifies you when your internet connection is disconnected and more.
In some cases, the ISP assigns a Fixed or
Permanent IP address to the calling PC which does not change on each connection to the internet. A fixed IP Address is much desired by Network users, but the service also comes with a fee with certain ISP's.
