EZ Extract Resource

EZ Extract Resource enables you to extract resource items from various file types, as the name implies, in order to save them to the computer. It offers support for multiple formats, including EXE, DLL, OCX, CPL, SCR and SYS.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window with a well-structure layout, where you can import items into the workspace using either the file browser or folder view. It is possible to extract resources from multiple sources at once.

For every item in the list you can select the resources to extract, interpret data or view the hexadecimal code, as well as specify the output destination, file name and format, in order to proceed with the extraction procedure.

You can use a search function to locate files in the selected resources' path, copy images, convert formats, as well as copy or move files to another location.

Other options of EZ Extract Resource let you view all resources or only the resources which were extracted lastly, check out log details, and switch to a different language for the UI. From the Options panel you can specify a set of resource types to extract by default (e.g. icons, cursors, Bitmaps, GIFs, JPGs), choose the saving destination, disable logging, and so on.

EZ Extract Resource is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and memory, using minimum system resources. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or display error dialogs.
