What's New in version 1.4 Beta
  • Push support:
  • If your Android app uses Cloud to Device Messaging (C2DM), when you repackage your app for BlackBerry devices, you can use the push technology of the BlackBerry Application Platform to provide similar functionality. Push technology gives your users immediate access to content, without waiting for downloads. It also allows your application to process information in the background and alert users.
  • Push support includes command-line Push support for single and batch conversions, Android Development Tools project and build-system level Push support, and Android Development Tools android.cfg file template and editor support.
  • The Android Development Tools now supports the C2DM Push API.
