FC Compiler (Fortran Calculus)

Relying on Automatic Differentiation (or, in short, AD) and operator overload, the FortranCalculus language is designed for scientific computing. Its purpose is to simplify coding to predefined mathematical models, with an objective function and well-defined constraints.It aims to allow jumping from problem definition to debugging, skipping intermediate steps, such as approximations and tedious programming. In other words, the numerical work is assigned to the compiler.

FC Compiler brings to the table a generous collection of example problems that engineers can take a look at when trying to find inspiration for finding solutions to their own challenges. The compiler is meant to prove the capabilities of the Calculus-level problem solving approach, while offering a stepping stone and a learning environment to those who want to solve their own problems.

It addresses problems related to algebraic, differential and LaPlace equations, operation research, nesting, solvers, statistics, boundary and initial values, and the list does not end here. All users have to do is select the demo file they want and submit it to load the model and compile the code. Each problem features output demos, allowing users to view the results and get ideas on how they can find solutions for their own problems.

There are also a set of template files available in FC Compiler. You can make whatever modifications you want to the templates to help you save time while programming your own solutions. Among the templates, you can find various guide documents that provide instructions.  The FC Compiler is a Calculus-level compiler that features an assortment of demonstration files for problems in different fields, addressing scientists, engineers and programmers alike. The compiler solves implicit problems and makes use of successive FIND statements to elevate simulations to optimization programs.
