Virtual Drive Creator is a software solution designed to create virtual drives from any folder, thus enabling you get rid of long paths for the files you access on a regular basis.
There's nothing too difficult about this program and this is probably the number one strong point, as every user needs just a few seconds to figure out how to use it.
If you hope to see a clean and intuitive interface, that's exactly what you get because Virtual Drive Creator has only a few options displayed right in the main window.
Creating a new virtual drive is as easy as it gets. Just navigate to the desired folder, pick a drive letter from the right list and hit the “Add Virtual Drive” button. You don't need a computer reboot or any other configuration, so using this particular button should do the job.
The left side of the main window is reserved to used drive letters, so in case you want to remove one of the previously created drives, it's enough to pick one from the list and click on the “Remove Virtual Drive” option.
Virtual Drive Creator works on all Windows versions and, as said, you don't even have to restart the system to see the newly-created drive. It's enough to open My Computer and you can already access it.
But, if we were to vote for some improvements, we would certainly go for a configuration screen and a more appealing design because although this simple look does its job, a user-friendly approach is always recommended.
Simply put, Virtual Drive Creator may come in handy to many users out there and as long as it doesn't bother you to see more drive letters in My Computer, make sure to give this one a try.
