    Ferox description

    Align DNA sequences with this Java tool

    Ferox is a simple and lightweight application designed to help you align sets of DNA sequences. The mechanism it uses is highly configurable, as you can modify the fuzzy seeds in the XML configuration file.

    Additionally, Ferox can be used for aligning whole genomes. Since it is built in Java, it will run on all the major platforms.
