    MIRA description

    A tagging task algorithm.

    MIRA is an extension of the perceptron algorithm designed for online machine learning applications. This tool ensures that updating the model parameters always yields at least a margin of one.

    This passive aggressive algorithm is used for training and can be implemented in part-of-speech tagging, chunking and other tagging tasks.
