Molecule Constructor

These days, there are many applications that can be used by scientists to help them with their work and research. While some are advanced and require many system resources, others can be used on even the most basic computers. Molecule Constructor is one such example; even though it doesn’t feature a very advanced interface, it does exactly what it says by allowing you to construct complex chemical elements, atom by atom.

It should be noted that Molecule Constructor isn’t really an educational application and you should have proper knowledge of chemistry and physics if you wish to use it with relevant results. You can start by placing your first separate atoms or by creating bonds. In each case, you have to provide the correct chemical formula, position and also select the hybridization type.

Each atom is colored differently, and you can also make them rotate in different ways. The program also comes with many prebuilt molecules models (such as acetone, benzene, butane, ethanol, ethylene, methane, propane, and even water), which you can modify according to your needs. You can even change the way the molecules are displayed, by modifying the various visual parameters of the interface.
