VBA Password Recovery is a powerful software tool which allows you to unlock password-protected projects in Virtual Basic, so you can work with them.
The interface of the application is professional-looking and intuitive. So, you can import documents into the list by using either the file browser or tree view (the 'drag and drop' functionality is not included). VBA Password Recovery supports several file types, including XLS, DOC, MDB and PPT.
The attack projects are arranged according to their category - working, recovered and failed. VBA Password Recovery provides several configurable settings in the attack profile manager, so you can completely customize the app.
For example, you can edit the attack scheme cells (e.g. brute force, dictionary), configure cells and edit dictionary options (e.g. minimum word length). It is possible to create new profiles, in order to use them in future projects.
In addition, VBA Password Recovery supports benchmarking and password caching, and can either add the passwords automatically or ask for confirmation. Plus, you can establish the program priority, minimize it to the system tray area, enable logging and automatic saves, and others. Settings may be restored to their default values at any time.
The software utility needs a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, is pretty responsive to keyboard commands and mouse events, and supports some hotkeys. We have not experienced any issues during our testing; VBA Password Recovery did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its wide range of configurable settings, VBA Password Recovery should please skilled users.
