SysInfoTools IE Password Recovery is an approachable Windows utility that enables users to get ahold of passwords to all accounts saved in Internet Explorer. It comes packed with a handy set of features that can be easily used.
Fast setup and simple GUIThis tool is quickly and effortlessly installed. Its interface is user-friendly, thanks to an organized window with neatly placed buttons. The IE passwords are immediately identified at startup and displayed in the main frame.
View passwords, autocomplete data and IE historyThere are four separate sections available: "Website Password" and "User Password" keep the page address, type, login name and password for each account, "Auto Complete" holds the name, type and string of each field in the auto-complete data area, while "History Manager" allows users to view visited links.
Copy and export informationAny selected entries can be copied to the Clipboard with the click of a button, opened in Internet Explorer, removed, as well as exported to file (TXT format) for closer examination and safekeeping. There are no other notable options available here.
Evaluation and conclusionThe app had minimal impact of computer performance in our testing, since it uses low CPU and RAM. There were no kind of unpleasant surprises from the technical point of view, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. The shown password information was accurate. All in all, SysInfoTools IE Password Recovery may come to the aid of any Internet Explorer users who have forgotten (and saved keys) to their online accounts.
