First, you need to import users and thus let Windows Password Cracker know which are the usernames created on the local computer. Afterward, just select the users whose passwords you want to recover and, if you're okay with the standard settings, just hit the “Start attack” button at the top of the main window.

The program supports two different password recovery modes, bruteforce and dictionary attacks, which means you can also configure the process and thus improve its efficiency.

Unfortunately, Windows Password Cracker didn't work during our test and it failed to recover the password on a Windows 7 machine. Still, the program works flawlessly on all Windows machines, with a moderate amount of hardware resources needed to complete the job.
