The Cryptola application was developed to be a powerful, easy-to-use file encryption tool for Windows. I wrote Cryptola because I wanted to protect my system backups.

Cryptola uses cryptographic technology designed by the National Security Agency (NSA) and published by the NIST as a U.S. Federal Information Processing Standard.
