Privacy.FILE protects data by utilizing a unique encryption key (E-Key™) that is stored on the hard drive or a floppy disk. Privacy.FILE also offers digital signature capabilities for enhanced security.

Privacy.FILE ensures that only authorized users have access to protected data. In order to access their protected data, users provide the necessary personal identification responses.

Privacy.FILE through the use of a smart card, ensures that only authorized users have access to protected data. In order to access their protected data, users insert their personalized smart card into the smart card reader and provide the necessary personal identification responses.

Privacy.FILE is Microsoft Explorer enabled. Once installed and set-up, Privacy.FILE offers automatic transparent encryption and decryption of selected files and directories without requiring any action by the end user. The data on the hard drive, disk, zip drive or other storage media, is always encrypted.

Privacy.FILE also protects data by allowing users to select individual files to be encrypted and decrypted and allows users to send encrypted files or attachments over non-secure environments such as the Internet.
