ZoneAlarm Pro is a comprehensive security solution that can protect the computer against multiple types of threats, such as Internet attacks, identity theft, phishing, spyware and others.
Just like any other security solution, you will need some time to get used to ZoneAlarm Pro, but the interface is pleasant enough to speed up the whole process and guide you while trying to take advantage of its features.
The application installs in a minute, but pay attention while choosing the features to install because the setup kit also includes some unnecessary software that ZoneAlarm Pro doesn’t need to run properly.
ZoneAlarm Pro will load every time you open the computer, so it provides real time protection against all threats. Of course, its behavior is highly customizable, so you definitely have to take a look in the settings menu to be sure it perfectly fits you.
In just a few words, ZoneAlarm Pro comprises a two-way firewall, identity theft protection, online backup services, a special tool to analyze the file you download and guard the computer, dangerous website detection and many others.
Besides the firewall, which obviously lets you set your very own rules, the application control feature is one of the things that impressed us the most during our test, giving you full control over the programs that need Internet access.
You won’t need a super fast computer to run ZoneAlarm Pro, but it could slow down the operating system in case we’re talking about an older machine.
