Having multiple accounts and several passwords is a common thing, and that is why a reliable password manager is a must for many. There are various solutions to choose from, including browser extensions, online services, and standalone desktop applications. RememBear brings to the table a password manager that combines the benefits of a desktop client with online access to the secure vault, and seamless browser integration in Chrome, with plans for future releases for other browsers.

Featuring a modern-looking interface, RememBear enables users to manage their login data and their credit card information from a single interface. Like other similar applications, it remembers passwords and provides automatic form filling for saved accounts.

To make the transition smoother, RememBear features options to import data from Chrome, 1Password, or LastPass. Users can manually add as many entries as they want and sort them with ease. If the list gets too large, there is a search form to help one out.

A RememBear account can be attached several devices, including phones, tablets, and other computers. To do so, one needs to provide the unique new device key associated with their account. The manager automatically synchronizes all the entries in the password vault across all the devices the account is linked to, which means users can access their credentials on the go.

The most important issues when talking about password managers is data security. RememBear uses 256-bit encryption to protect data and requires a master password that users should remember. Moreover, to connect to a new device, the new device key must be provided. To ensure users that no vulnerabilities are found in the application's code, its developers paid for a security review.

Additional security measures allow RememBear to get locked after not being used for a specific amount of time. Also, the password manager is automatically locked when the computer enters sleep mode.

RememBear is a password manager with high potential, especially since it also features browser integration and online access to the credentials. It is definitely worth a try, especially for those who are looking for an alternative to their current password manager.
