HLP Free PC Cleaner is yet another Windows tool developed to find and remove unnecessary files on your computer and thus save space on the local disks.
It’s almost impossible not to figure out how to use the program, not only because the available number of options is quite limited, but also thanks to the very intuitive interface.
You can choose between multiple files to be cleaned, including temporary files, recent files and Internet Explorer data, such as temporary Internet files, cookies and history.
The whole junk data cleaning process basically comes down to hitting the “Search” button and selecting the results to be deleted. HLP Free PC Cleaner doesn’t show too much information, except for the files count and the number of scanned folders.
The removal process is performed almost instantly and the computer is not at all stressed up, but administrator privileges may be needed to clean junk data on Windows 7 workstations.
Unfortunately, HLP Free PC Cleaner doesn’t support any other browser except for Internet Explorer and it provides absolutely no other configuration options.
The help section is missing too, but that shouldn’t be a problem at all since everything’s so intuitive.
Overall, HLP Free PC Cleaner comprises only the essential tools to clean Internet Explorer data, as well as temporary and recent files on any Windows workstation out there. The plain and simple GUI makes it appropriate for any user category and does its job without hampering system performance.
