Privacy Eraser Pro is an application which enables you to free up space on your computer by getting rid of unnecessary files.

The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can use the tabs to access Windows, browsers and plugins tools, along with others.

So, Privacy Eraser Pro can look into the recent document list, Run history, registry streams, clipboard, Recycle Bin, the temporary files directory and the SWAP file.

But the tool can also erase web browser cache, history, cookies, visited and typed URLs, as well as autocomplete passwords and forms data when it comes to Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, AOL and Opera.

Furthermore, you can select the plugins that you want to execute (e.g. ACDSee, Adobe Reader, Notepad), permanently shred files beyond recovery, clean the free space on specific drives and schedule tasks.

On top of that, you can assign keyboard shortcuts, enable Privacy Eraser Pro to automatically run at system startup, to start minimized in the system tray and to automatically clean Windows on shutdown, configure security options (e.g. overwrite all bytes of a file with zero or one characters, or with random numbers), and more.

The software runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and can take a while to finish a scan and clean job, but it's pretty thorough. Unfortunately, there is no help file available. Adding the slightly outdated interface to the equation, we strongly recommend Privacy Eraser Pro to all users.
