SB Cleaner Standard Edition is a handy and reliable application designed to clean your computer and enhance its performance.

SB Cleaner Standard Edition is a tool to free up disk space and improve your systems performance and most importantly, your privacy. The shredder uses DoD complient deletion methods, making sure the files you delete can not be recovered using undelete programs.

The SBCleaner System cleaner cleans your internet history, cookies, cache, and over 800 third party applications, thus protecting your privacy. SBCleaner System Cleaner will remove traces from your system, and as benefit freeing-up disk space and better performance.

The SBCleaner FreeSpace cleaner cleans previously deleted files from being recovered. Windows just removes the reference to the file, thus making it possible to recover the contents of the file using an undelete program.

The RAM Cleaner module attempts to free-up wasted RAM. Programs often times fail to release memory when they end, SBCleaner Clean/Defrag RAM will defrag your RAM, thus allowing better performance of your system.

The SBCleaner Junk File Cleaner cleans up your hard-drive that is littered with files you don't need, taking up valuable diskspace, and slowing down your system. There are alot of files that are not needed, like old log files, temporary files, index files, files generated by system crashes. SBCleaner Junk File cleaner can clean 31 different junk file types. You can extend SBCleaner by developing your own Junk File Plug-in.

The SBCleaner Registry cleaner will clean your registry of invalid entries, which can improve your Windows performance.

The SBCleaner Shredder lets you remove files from your drive without the possibility of being recovered. Deleting files or folders from Microsoft Windows is not secure, Windows just removes reference to the file and the data is still on your system. SBCleaner Shredder uses different DoD compliant shred methods, to prevent undelete programs from recovering your file.

The SBCleaner Pend Delete/Move will remove or move locked files automatically at the next Windows restart.

The SBCleaner Uninstaller: uninstalls any unwanted Windows applications that you don't want any more. You can also remove any invalid entries.

The SBCleaner Startup Manager allows you to control what applications to run on your system at startup. By removing programs you really don't need or want, you can gain performance and memory.

Set Attributes module allows you to change the attribute of a file. File attributes can be used to write-protect, hide, unhide files or folders.

The Checksum Calculator is a tool that calculates a checksum value or hash that can be used to determine the integrity of a file. The supported algorithms include CRC32 and Adler32.

Job Scheduler allows you to schedule SBCleaner to run at apecified times to clean your system automatically.

There are options that will allow you to tailor how Windows deletes or not deletes Windows Page file, Virtual Memory, Temporary Internet files, and Cleans Recent documents when Windows exit. You also have the ability to Windows block Messenger Service (SPAM), disable user tracking, disable recent history, and not to move deleted files to the recycle bin.

SBCleaner Standard Edition allows you to expand the functionality of the System Cleaner and Junk File Cleaner by adding new plug-ins. A Plug-In tells SBCleaner what actions to do and where to do it. There is a tool included that will allow you to easily create or modify a plug-in. Currently, there are over 800 pre define Plug-ins available.

Currently SBCleaner supports 14 shredding algorithms, from un secure to highly secure file shredding. As a note, the more secure a shredding algorithm is, usually the longer it takes to shred. From the 14 shredding methods, you can find a nice compromise between speed and secure shredding performance.

SBCleaner will allow to create System restore points, to help protect your system from things going wrong during install of new programs, Viruses, and the like.

SBCleaner Standard will allow to check the SBCleaner website for new updates and install them if they are available.

SBCleaner also includes an external shredder just like the Windows trashcan, except the files that are deleted are DELETED.
