ViewpointKiller description
Remove Viewpoint, remove Viewpoint Media Player, AIM Adware

ViewpointKiller does exactly what it's name says: Kills Viewpoint Media Player

Viewpoint Media Player is an adware that displays bandwith eating popup ads in IE and on your desktop. It comes silently with an install of AIM, and will be reinstalled by AIM if uninstalled. ViewpointKiller is a software that removes Viewpoint Media Player.

But ViewpointKiller fixes all of that. It takes off Viewpoint Media Player once and for all.

This works for the current version of AIM (5.9.3861), AIM Triton 0.88, and can remove Viewpoint Media Player 3.3.


What's New in This Release:

· Added logfile creation. You will find 'ViewpointKiller.log' in the same directory that you unzipped ViewpointKiller to.
· (beta!) Patched bug with ViewpointKiller not detecting or removing Viewpoint on non-English versions of Windows. (Thanks Marcelo)
· Updated GUI report to make it more useful for user.
· Patched detection function.
· Turns out the GUI report was partially incomplete. Patched GUI report.
· Small GUI change: Moved credits from program to readme.
· Updated for Viewpoint Media Player 3.4.
· Updated for AIM 6.1.3.1
· Program attempts to close 'ViewpointServices.exe' twice when removing Viewpoint Media Player.
