Ever forgotten your password when using Windows Live Messenger with Remember My Password option? Windows Live Messenger Password Recovery is an application that lets you recover you password with your associated account or accounts.
Windows Live Messenger Password Recovery is compatible with Windows Live Messenger 8.0 through to latest 8.5 Beta 2
Also available is a command line version that doesn't require .Net Framework.
The command line version is simple to use, just bring up your command prompt, go to the directory you extracted the file to and type in wlmpasswd.exe ’and will give you the results.
Remember when the password is retrieved you agree that it is your
account and you're not misusing the program.
Note: Some antivirus and antispyware programs flag Windows Live Messenger Password Recovery as being infected/malware, although the application is perfectly safe and does not pose a threat to your system. This is called a 'false positive'. The term false positive is used when antivirus software wrongly classifies an innocuous ( inoffensive ) file as a virus. The incorrect detection may be due to heuristics or to an incorrect virus signature in a database. [Similar problems can occur with antitrojan or antispyware software.]
